LABORATORY OF BIOCHEMISTRY-PROTEOMICS

The main topic of the research of the Laboratory of Biochemistry-Proteomics focuses on the molecular mechanisms in cancer of the sound (in the primary tumors are very aggressive, such as adenocarcinoma, pancreatic, and glioblastoma), and in particular, the signaling cell. Our main point of interest is the identification of the units of the signal with the impact of the proliferation of tumor cells, which may be modulated by inhibitors. The result of these collaborations, we are now specialized in the analysis of cytotoxic and other compounds, purify, and evaluate the effect of their proliferation.

As the trend of future research, we plan to develop a sferoid and tumor prganoids markers, including editing gene therapy, as a tool for a better understanding of their roles in the oncogenesis of genes that are not traditionally known as proto-oncogenes. Through the combination of these two methods, you'll be able to get more accurate information with respect to the proliferation of the cells, and the rates of growth and invasiveness of cancer cells.
