The project is general objective the transfer of knowledge, expertise, and technology-to SET the "Victor Babes" by private enterprises in the manufacturing sector, and the development of bio-based products for health care, in order to increase economic competitiveness, and scientific in their national and international level. The project will lead to the increase of the degree of exploitation of the socio-economic results of the research in a field that shows a growing trend at the international level, placing the PATHOLOGY, "Victor Babeş" in a key position in the economy of bio-based products.

Strategic objectives

  • Potential/the results of the r & d of IV according to the needs of the r & d of the companies from the field of biotechnology, healthcare and pharmaceutical industries (at least 9 companies)
  • The development of a framework is in place for the long-term cooperation between the IV and the private sector in the fields of biotechnology, medical and health care.
  • A direct application of the technologies and methods developed the IV to ensure the transfer of the technology quickly and cost-effectively to the industry, and their integration in the new product/ optimized, with the potential for high competitive.
  • Exploitation of the area of expertise of the staff of the research by being involved directly in the development/improvement of technologies and products in the field of biotechnology, biomedical, and pharmaceutical industries are identified by the enterprise as a as required by the market.
  • The promotion of the infrastructure of the modern research has advanced in the practice of medicine, cellular and molecular weight of the IVworld of biochemistry/proteomics, genomics, immunology, bio-imaging, cell and molecular features of the cell culture, real-time monitoring, biological facility, etc.
  • Providing access to private enterprises (for a total of at least 10) on the experience of the specialist and to the facilities of the IV, for the purpose of increasing the competitiveness of the industrial innovation of the enterprises involved in the project.
These goals, join the project in the field of general staff for the implementation of the National Strategy for Competitiveness, as well as other strategies, sectoral and regional innovationwith the development of new methods, tools, and products of the biotechnology effective in both diagnosis and therapy in medicine

  • The development of biopharmaceuticals by addressing some of the biochemical processes specific to the exploration of a new peptide, molecular structure, and delivery systems at the level of the cell, and cells.
  • Pre-clinical testing, and preparation for testing of the clinical trials of the products, the systems and methods based on bio-technologies, like the steps of the pharmaceutical development.
