Annual conference of pathology

The Annual Pathology Conference of the `Victor Babeș` Institute, Bucharest brings together researchers, clinicians, and industry representatives to advance biomedical science.Sessions highlight basic research, including 3D models for non-communicable diseases, novel animal models, and biomarker discovery, as well as pathology, with emphasis on kidney and gastrointestinal diseases, showcasing new diagnostic and therapeutic insights. A dedicated SME–Academia Networking Session will foster translational collaboration, linking small and medium enterprises with research institutions to accelerate innovation.

Conference abstracts will be indexed in BMC Proceedings, part of Springer-Nature (https://bmcproc.biomedcentral.com/).

Abstracts must be submitted in UK English, they must be original and must not have been previously published elsewhere. The accepted format is .DOC, .DOCX or .PDF. Abstract template can be accessed here.

The Conference is CME credited by the Romanian College of Physicians (CMR credits to be announced).

The Conference also hosts an e-Poster session (template).

Three workshops are available pre- and during the Conference:

Attendance fee per workshop: 150 RON.

Workshop participants are welcomed to attend the scientific sessions of the conference.
